Plastisols

Plastisols are dispersions of extremely fine particles of high molecular weight polyvinyl chloride resin and additives in liquid plasticizers.  With hundreds of raw materials possible, plastisols can be tailored to a wide range of products and processes.  Properly formulated plastisols can save time, labor and money by being custom tailored for use in a variety of processes.  Since heat alone fuses the liquid to a solid, less expensive tooling can be used to make parts.  Also, compounds can be formulated over a wide range of hardness, temperature, flexibility, heat, tear and abrasion resistance characteristics in virtually any color.
